Croeso i Ddosbarth Enfys, our Nursery & Reception class at Ysgol Machen.

We are a group the youngest learners at the very beginning of our learning journey. We love being creative, developing enquiring minds and investigating all areas of our setting. We are one big happy family and enjoy having fun & learning together!

We enjoy a healthy snack in school every day.  Please bring to school a healthy snack of fruit/veg (no nuts, thanks) to eat during our morning playtime break.

Our homework consists of regular phonics and reading support at home to reinforce the development of these essential early reading skills. Reception reading days are Monday & Tuesday, Nursery children’s individual phonics sessions are each Wednesday.
