Croeso i Ddosbarth Porffor / Welcome to Dosbarth Porffor.

Shwmae! I’m Miss Hopkins, class teacher of Dosbarth Porffor. We are an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative mixed Year 5/6 class, who strive to make the best of our talents.

Our PE lessons are on a Wednesday. Please could you ensure your child comes to school in the correct PE kit (Black tracksuit bottoms/shorts, school polo shirt and trainers.)

Homework in Dosbarth Porffor will be set on a Friday and should be returned by the following Friday. Depending on the task, this will either be sent home as a paper copy or set on Google Classroom. Children are also given their weekly spellings on a Monday morning. We practise these every morning in class, ready for a test on a Friday. Children will also bring them home on a Monday to practise at home.  

 Children are expected to be reading a book of their own choice on a daily basis at home.
